    Girls Talk Club

    Girls Talk establishes positive weekly peer-to-peer mentoring programs for middle school girls. We exist to help young teenage girls build self esteem, develop leadership skills, and recognize the value of community service. Our club is a nationally recognized mentoring program that offers fun, positive weekly meetings, community service projects, and friendship-building activities for middle school girls.

    The fee for this club is $30.

    Photography Club

    This club is chartered through 4-H and students must be a member in 4-H to participate in meetings. 4-H Member Enrollment Forms are available in the front office.

    Camera time! In the 4-H Photography project you will learn to use cameras, lighting and other photography equipment to get great photos. You will learn about techniques in editing and developing photographs for display, or personal enjoyment.

    The fee for this club is $10.

    PSAT Math Club

    HSA is offering tutoring to 7th and 8th grade students to help prepare them for the Scholastic Aptitude Test, or SAT. My PSAT course is offered once time per week as an introduction to the PSAT process. This course is designed not only to expose students to the SAT requirements, but to instill confidence and better preparer them for the challenges of high school and the competitive college entrance process. Your student won't fear the SAT after taking HSA's instruction course.

    Detention, ZAP & Tutoring

    Detention - will begin at 7 am. Students who have negative behavior will be required to report to detention where they will review the student handbook, write reflection papers regarding their behavior and work on missing academic work or receive tutoring.

    ZAP - ZEROS Are Not Permitted - Students who receive written notification from teachers will attend ZAP class beginning at 8 am. Students will work on missing academic work and receive tutoring.

    Mandatory Tutorials will begin at 9 am.

    Students who have been assigned Detention but have ZAP or Tutorials will report first to Detention. They then will be picked up from Detention by Tutorial Teachers.

    All students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. Please pick your students up promptly.

    All students are required to be in the School Uniform

    Math Counts

    For more than 30 years, MATHCOUNTS has provided enrriching, extracurricular opportunities to students and free, high-quality resources to educators. Every child is unique, but we believe all children are capable of seeing the beauty and joy of math, whether they come to us already passionate about math or intimidated by it.

    There are many paths to math. We work to ensure that all students discover theirs.

    Theater and Performing Arts is a 4-H club. To enroll in this club, you must be enrolled as a 4-H Member. Enrollment forms are available in the front office.

    Through theater and performance arts, 4-H members will develop a spirit of cooperation, develop self-confidence through public performance, discover and develop their talents, and grow socially, culturally, and develop their leadership skills.     Flag Football

    Harmony's Flag Football team will teach students the rules of Flag Football. At our team practices, students will be learning how to play as a team, practice Flag Football drills, and scrimmage against each other. This team will teach students leadership, organization, and memorization skills. At the end of the year we will be having a teacher vs student scrimmage where all parents will be welcome. We hope to continue this team next year so that we can start the 2018 - 2019 school year off competition-ready.

    The fee for this club is $10.

    Tiger Cub Club

    The Tiger Cub Club is an activity based club for students in grades K - 2. Activities will vary throughout the semester ranging from exploring coloring skills, designing arts and crafts, experiencing a variety of sports, and reading, storytelling, and creative writing to meeting members of our society and exploring some of our local careers and cultures. Together, we will practice topics including (but not limited to) numbers, letters and their sounds, colors, new words, respect, friendship, teamwork and character building.
